UNMARKED, PROBABLY SERBIAN, 18TH CENTURY
The centre chased in relief with Samson astride a lion, pulling its jaws apart, encircled by Cyrillic lettering, probably of Byzantine origin, the sides chased in relief with dragons, stag, rabbit, squirrel and other animals below a narrow ropework band, with ribbed outer rim and tucked-in collet foot, the interior gilded, the exterior silver, the underside of foot engraved with Cyrillic lettering
