The massive vessel finely enamelled to each side with a large circular cartouche depicting an elderly sage seated by a table being brought a drink by a famale attendant and a boy in an interior, the large circular window revealing two further figures and a pet deer on a terrace in a riverscape, all reserved on a gilt scrolling foliage ground with gilt handle, spout and finial
