The rectangular case with gadrooned top and pineapple finial above a fluted frieze, brass mouldings to each corner and to angles to front, pierced brass fretwork to sides below ring handles, glazed rear door, the brass-inlaid base on ball feet, painted dial with Roman hours and signed Barwise LONDON, twin train movement with gut fusees, anchor escapement and rack striking on two bells, with pendulum; two case keys
