The knife and fork with yataghan type handles, enamelled on either side with an oval reserve depicting biblical and classical figures, the sheath with two compartments, enamelled with polychrome foliate scrolls on a lilac ground, the sides applied with silver classical portrait medallions in profile with a rosette between, the mounts engraved with crossed daggers and diaperwork on the finials and tip, the knife with foliate-etched steel blade, the fork with two steel prongs
