Each depicting the portrait of a lady flanked by putti, one emblematic of Summer, the other of Winter, in the manner of Pierre Mignard, within a later rectangular giltwood frame with pierced scrolled cresting, signed to the figure of Summer 'V.E.P' and dated '1696'
