Plain, with kidney-shaped handle, inscribed JEAN*I*PICARD around side; a large 19th Century French wine-taster, sides applied with fruiting vines, base applied with fleurs-de-lys around a coin dated 1752, ropework foot, handle engraved with man holding goose under arm and bag of money in one hand below legend Monnoye fait tout; another 19th Century example with spurious marks, set with coins and applied with fleur-de-lys; a small Provincial wine-taster with lobed sides, 2nd standard, 1819/38; and two other post 1838 examples
