Lot Essay

Putting together a plane which could carry 100 passengers at such speed, safely and reliably, for hours at a time, involved a huge investment in research and years upon years of testing. Several prototypes of Concorde were developed and this lot is probably a spare component from a prototype. The paintwork corresponds with that on prototype models built.
