on a rising circular foot decorated with a frieze of stylised foliage and with a harp-shaped handle, plain liner and foliate and berry-decorated domed hinged cover with stylised acorn finial, the openwork body formed from two eagles with outstretched wings perched on shells, foliage beneath, maker's initials F.D., Augsburg circa 1810 - 5¼in.
