The rectangular tan leather-lined top within a three-quarter baluster gallery, above three frieze drawers decorated with fruiting garlands, foliate entrelac scrolls and trellis stringing, the sides with a pull-out slide and centred by a flower-filled urn, the angles headed by tassled swags, above fluted chandelle-inset tapering legs, on toupie feet, bearing stamp PALAIS DES TUILERIES twice and ASS NAT, with the inventory number 202 in ink
