Lot Essay

The current lot is one of five Vespas which were customised by artists to raise money for Action on Addiction and sold at a charity auction. The artist Simon Periton customized this piece as a homage to Naples, describing the scooter as, the blood which courses through the veins of Naples and represent the freedom and anarchy of Neopolitan culture.
