Lot Essay

John Harvey was the eldest son of John Harvey (1666-1742) of St. Clements, Norwich. He married Margaret, daughter of John Hunt, Worlington, Norfolk and according to Rye's Norfolk Families (loc. cit.) was a linen draper in London.
