Hand-modelled, the bulbous form with a circular lid, applied with a pebbly and glossy red glaze with brown suffusions, with wooden lacquered lid

With wood box signed, named and authenticated by the 6th Grand Tea Master of the Omote-Senke Tea school, Kakukakusai Sosa (1678-1730), with cursive monogram (kao)
