Lot Essay

While Huang Junbi never settled in the United States, he traveled here frequently during the 1950s and '60s and participated in numerous exhibitions and lectures in New York.

Dr. Helen Nash (1921-2012) was a prominent and pioneering African-American physician. Among her many posts and firsts, she held the chair of Pediatric Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
