Similar examples with variant decoration are held in the collections of the Fitzwilliam Museum, the pot à toilette and cover gilt with vignettes of stag hunts, the stand with trophies amidst grasses [MAR.C.37 & A & B-1912]; the British Museum, gilt with chinoiserie vignettes and lacking a cover [1930,5-14,I]; and the Victoria and Albert Museum, also lacking a cover, with shell handles extending from the rim of the pot [1983-1855; 1983A-1855].
