A silver inlaid-bronze figure of Buddha
Kashmir, circa 9th/10th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a cushion over an openwork throne supported by lions and an attendant, his right hand in abhayamudra and his left holding the folds of his robe, the face with silver-inlaid eyes and urna flanked by pendulous earlobes, the hair in tight curls over the ushnisha
