Nepal, 15th/16th century
Seated in dhyanasana over a double-lotus base with his hands in bhumisparsamudra, wearing a diaphanous sanghati with the folds piled below the ankles, the face with downcast eyes centered by a raised urna and flanked by pendulous earlobes, the hair in curls over the ushnisha and topped with a knop
