Lot Essay

Born in 1871, Jules-Edmond Masson studied under his animalier father, Clovis-Edmond, although he never achieved the same success. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, achieving an honourable mention in 1890 and medals in 1922 and 1928.
