A PAINTED GREY POTTERY FIGURE OF AN OFFICIAL
NORTHERN WEI DYNASTY (AD 386-534)
The well-modeled, standing figure is shown wearing a court cap and a breast-plate secured by a belt over a tunic with full sleeves which is worn over an undergarment and full pants tied below the knees. His hands are hidden within the sleeves and appear to rest atop a sheathed sword.
