A FAMILLE ROSE AND GILT-DECORATED YELLOW-GROUND DISH
TONGZHI FOUR-CHARACTER MARK IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1862-1874)
The dish has rounded sides that rise to a slightly everted rim, and is decorated on the interior with gilt shou-character medallions interspersed with iron-red bats and blue wan emblems reserved on a lemon-yellow ground, and on the exterior with three flower sprays.
8 5/8 in. (22 cm.) diam.
