A SMALL LONGQUAN CELADON BALUSTER JAR AND COVER
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The jar is carved with a band of foliate scroll bearing two flowers between a band of upright petals below and a band of clouds above. The cover is carved with rows of overlapping petals radiating from the center. Both are covered with a glaze of blue-green color.
4 5/8 in. (11.7 cm.) high
