A CARVED MARBLE FIGURE OF A FEMALE IMMORTAL AND A BUDDHIST LION
The immortal is shown standing on a carved marble base with one foot on the back of a Buddhist lion lying beside her, its paws outstretched in front and mouth open in a loud roar. She is dressed in voluminous robes carved with floral decoration that fall in elegant folds about the body. Her hair is swept back in a high chignon and covered with a cowl, centered with a jeweled crown.
