A WHITE JADE DRAGON PENDANT
EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, 4TH-3RD CENTURY BC
The pendant is finely carved in the shape of a dragon with crested head and long snout, and with sharply curved S-shaped body detailed on both sides with scroll pattern. The semi-translucent stone is of buff-white color and there are traces of cinnabar.
2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) long
