MARK OF RIMBARTUS VISSER, LEEUWARDEN, 1682, COVER POSSIBLY LATER
Tapering cylindrical and on three ball feet, the sides chased with bands of foliage and flowers, with scroll handle, the tapering spout terminating in a grotesque mask, the hinged cover engraved with two coats-of-arms accolé and with double scroll thumbpiece, marked underneath, the rim and cover each with a later Dutch tax mark
