SIGNED 'ABDULLAH, QAJAR IRAN, DATED AH 1251/1835-36 AD
Arabic manuscript on plainwoven cloth, comprising a central oval filled with 19ll. of neat black naskh in clouds reserved against gold ground, gold, blue and green floral rosette verse markers, final rosette signed 'Abdullah on blue ground, within a border of gold and polychrome floral vine on red ground, the spandrels with flowering vine surrounding calligraphic cartouches on blue ground, bordered on each side with a band of 2ll. of white thuluth on blue ground, above and below the hilyeh a cartouche filled with a line of interwoven gold and white calligraphy between panels of gold and polychrome illumination, laid down on black card
