OTTOMAN TURKEY, CIRCA 1590
With sloping rim on short foot, the white ground painted in cobalt-blue, bole-red and green with black outlines with a cypress tree issuing confronted pairs of prunus blossom and tulips flanked by carnations, the rim painted with a stylised 'wave and rock' design, the exterior with alternating blue and green rosettes, hole drilled into the foot, otherwise intact
