The medal oval, the obverse engraved The Brotherly Society/Love and Unity, centering two figures clasping hands and surmounted by a Royal Crown, the reverse inscribed John Edgerly entered December 29, 1777, marked on reverse, the whistle of typical form, engraved TMH and Swallow, marked on body
The medal 2 7/8 in. (7.2 cm.) long; the whistle 5 in. (12.5 cm.) long; 1 oz. 10 dwt. (49 gr.) (2)
