A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER SAUCE TUREENS AND STANDS
MARK OF THOMAS HEMING, LONDON, 1769
Each oval on an oval stand, the body gadrooned, the stand and tureen gadrooned with scrolls and foliage at intervals, the cover with gadrooned band and chased with fluting and scrolls, surmounted by a scroll and foliate finial, the stand finely engraved with a coat-of-arms, the body and cover engraved with a crest, also engraved with scratch weights under stand and under tureen, each marked under stand, on body and under cover
The stands 9 in. (22.8 cm.) long; 59 oz. (1,842 gr.) (4)
