DR. NO

This silkscreen advance was the first poster to be released to the public as a teaser before the release of Dr. No in 1962. The graphic and starkly simple red and yellow design was a contemporary choice for the time. The teaser featured, for the first time, Joseph Caroff's now famous logo of the pistol overlaid on Bond's codename 007. The red and yellow colour scheme and bold typeface were continued in the main British quad campaign (see lot 203).
