A PAIR OF GREEN-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE LANTERN VASES
JIAQING SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
Each vase is enamelled in brilliant tones around the exterior with four large lotus blooms, each separated by a pair of confronting butterflies, all amidst further blooms borne on foliate scrolls, below a band of stiff leaves to the neck and above a key-fret band at the foot, all reserved on a bright lime-green ground.
