A SMALL BAMBOO 'PINE TREE' WATER POT
18TH CENTURY
Well carved as a hollowed pine tree, the water pot is detailed with sturdy leafy branches surrounding the exterior of the vessel. The base and the sides are incised with irregular circles simulating the whorls and knots of the bark.
