A MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID STATIONARY BOX
17TH/18TH CENTURY
It is finely worked with mother-of-pearl inlay in a variety of tones. The side panels are decorated with prunus and peonies, the top with clouds and bats. The front panel is embellished with pavilions and scholars in a mountainous riverscape. It lifts to reveal three long drawers and two smaller ones.
