the ivory field of each with vase at one end issuing multicoloured indented stylised arabesque palmettes and cartouches flanked by meandering leafy vines connecting serrated palmettes and flowerheads with occasional perching bird, brick-red arabesque and palmette mihrab above, in brick-red border of meandering palmette vine, pictorial and floral cartouches between indigo meandering arabesque palmette and ivory flowering vine and bird stripes, outer brick-red plain stripe, short kelim at each end, slight wear --7ft.3in. x 4ft.9in., and 7ft.2in. x 4ft.10in.
