Lot Essay

The present painting has been authenticated by Professor Cesare Mario Trevigne, the artist's great-grandson, and is sold with a letter dated 4 October 2013.
The work will be included in Professor Trevigne's archive with the title: 'Profilo di Istanbul all'orizzonte 3-Pontile di Scutari'. Another two versions of this compositions are known.
