AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY RUBY AND DIAMOND DIADEM, AND A LATE 19TH CENTURY RUBY AND DIAMOND BANGLE
The diadem of openwork bandeau design set with a central line of square-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, within a pearl and diamond border, to elliptical link side panels, mounted on a hemi-spherical frame, circa 1910, convertible to a bracelet, as which 17.6cm long, one diamond deficient, fitted sprung case; together with a half-hoop bangle set with an alternating line of oval-cut rubies and old-cut diamonds, with rose-cut diamond points and shoulder detailing, raised on a trifurcated hoop, circa 1890, internal circumference 16.5cm
