Realistically modelled and painted, a standing figure of a man, wearing a fur-trimmed hat, a belted tunic and a ochre long coat, on a circular shaped naturalistic base, moulded with Cyrillic inscription 'Kazan Tatar' at the back of the base, apparently unmarked; with incised Cyrillic 'ST'
8¾ in. (22.3 cm.) high
