Hemispherical bowl with shallow sunken interior, reeded rim and stiff leaf calyx, on square pedestal foot chased with acanthus leaves, the plain domed cover capped by a large Imperial crowned double-headed eagle finial centred by a shield engraved with cypher of Tsar Alexander I (reigned 1801-25), the foot rim with Cyrillic prick-dot lettering and No. 10, the numbering repeated inside the cover
