Lot Essay

The design on the current bowl is particularly attractive with much attention paid to the miscellaneous decorative elements rendered in multiple colours of brilliant tones. Compare to a Wanli bowl bearing the same design but painted in underglaze blue, offered also in this sale (lot 3300).
