KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The small dish with deep rounded sides rising to an everted rim is finely painted in cobalt of vivid blue tones with a galloping horse surrounded by flame scrolls in the centre against a dense ground of swirling waves and plum florettes, the ground repeated on the well and on the exterior.
4 1/2 in. (11.5 cm.) diam.
