A PAIR OF SMALL FAMILLE ROSE 'BUDDHIST EMBLEMS' DISHES
TONGZHI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1862-1874)
Each is painted to the centre of the interior in lime-green enamel with a flower head encircled by a foliate scroll, below eight ribbon-tied Buddhist Emblems, Bajixiang, on the cavetto, and all within gilt line borders. The exterior is decorated with three scrolling folaite sprays.
