A ROBIN'S-EGG-GLAZED BOTTLE VASE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The vase is well potted with a globular body rising to a slender and slightly flaring neck, covered overall with an even mottled glaze of turquoise and sapphire tones extending to the base and the interior.

Compare to a larger robin's-egg-glazed vase from the collection of S.C. Hu with an incised Qianlong six-character seal mark, included in the exhibition Monochrome Creamics of Ming and Ch'ing Dynasties jointly presented by the Min Chiu Society and the Urban Council, see Catalogue, Hong Kong, 1977, p. 101, no. 110.
