A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE CENSER AND COVER
CIRCA 1920
The censer is raised on a short pedestal foot, and carved around the compressed sides with a band of four interlocking dragons amidst ribbon-tied lotus sprays, below a pair of dragon-form handles suspending loose rings flanking the mouth rim. The domed cover is carved en suite below an openwork chrysanthemum finial. The stone is of a translucent greenish-white tone with areas of mottled inclusions.
