With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 21 February 2006, additional case back, setting pin, sales tag, product literature, instruction manual, leather wallet, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

The present lot is fresh to the market and furthermore in excellent condition.

Reference 3940, in production from 1985 until 2006, was available in different case materials, platinum being the rarest. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, pp. 292-293.
