The flat oval stone engraved with Mars standing in contrapposto, armed in a cuirass over a pleated tunic, greaves and a high-crested helmet, holding a spear in his raised left hand, supporting a shield on the ground with his lowered right, standing on a short groundline; mounted as a ring in a modern gold setting
