A LONG-STANDING, SATISFIED CUSTOMER, Churchill thanks Ball, of Lloyd's Bank in London, for birthday wishes, and reflects on his long relationship with the fabled London institution: "Although I have not made any researches into my papers, I think I opened my account with you when I went to Sandhurst, which was in 1894. I am only relying on my memory in this...I have not needed to bother you as everything seems to be well looked after under your guidance. Thank you very much for your kind inquiry, and all the attention I receive." Five years later he asks Ball for an "up-to-date list of my securities" and inquires about "the advantages and disadvantages of holding Debentures, especially as applied to the Canadian securities." Together 2 items. (2)
