We are grateful to Johan Bosch van Rosenthal and Greg Rubinstein for drawing our attention to prototypes for the two drawings in this lot. One represents December and January and is in a Dutch private collection and the other, representing the months of February and March, is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (inv. 2005.418.18), catalogued as by Joos de Momper.
