Lot Essay

The present drawing relates to A Bed Chamber, Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester ( J. Witt, William Henry Hunt, Life and Work, London, 1982, p. 183, pl. 79). The sitter, Miss Moore, was one of Hunt's pupils who lived in Cheyne Walk, Chelsea.
