A Victorian two-handled tea tray
of shaped oval form, applied with a gadroon, shell and scroll border, the ground bright-cut with a frieze of stylised flowers and scrolling foliage, the centre engraved with an armorial with crest above, Sheffield 1890, an indistinct maker's mark overstriking another - 24½in. (62.25cm.) overall, 77.25oz.
