Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1890 and its subsequent sale on January 3rd of 1895.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

The movement on the present watch is fitted with a "Crausaz" compensation balance, which is lighter and smaller than the Guillaume balance, and often was used in thin or complicated watches.
