Lot Essay

This work is the study for Buthaud's La Naissance de Vénus, a set of nine verre églomiseé panels realized circa 1935. The verre églomisé panel was sold with Les Collections du Château de Gourdon at Christie's Paris in 2011 for 109,000 Euros.
