The rectangular top with three-quarter pierced gallery, inlaid with geometric motifs, above a gilt-tooled green leather-lined writing slide, and a line-inlaid frieze fitted with a short drawer to each side, one of which fitted with a pen tray and two wells, on floret-headed square tapering legs headed with ormolu capped feet, with old depository label, stamped 'J DAUTRICHE', legs and frieze most probably re-veneered.
30½ in. (77.5 cm.) high; 32 in. (81 cm.) wide; 18¾ in. (47.5 cm.) deep
